Which courses at Anglia Ruskin are funded by the NHS?

Whether you are entitled to NHS funding also depends on your residency status in the UK; full details of criteria can be found in the NHS Financial Help booklet. EU students enrolled on any of the above courses are not required to pay tuition fees - they are fully funded by the NHS.

How do I apply?

For students entering their first year, a conditional or unconditional offer to study on one of the above courses at Anglia Ruskin must have been received. Then, NHS Student Bursaries will be notified and will be in contact via email or post to begin the application process. Continuing students must reapply every academic year, and will be sent an email or a letter at the appropriate time.

To find out how much you could be entitled to, use the NHS Student Bursary Estimate Calculator.

A standard student loan is also available, supplied by Student Finance England. Different rates of means-tested bursary and loan will apply according to whether you live with your parents or elsewhere. Visit the Maintenance Loan page for more information.

Detailed information about the funding available for prospective Nursing, Midwifery and ODP students can be found in the NHS Financial Help booklet.

An additional non-income assessed NHS bursary is available to social work students who are not already receiving funding from their employer, and who meet the eligibility criteria as outlined on the NHS Bursaries website, where Application forms can also be found.
