We have a strong commitment to meeting childcare needs of our students and staff. We recognise that confidence in your childcare arrangements is vitally important if you wish to study effectively at our University.

The following childcare services are on offer to students.

A Childcare Coordinator and Student Childcare Advisor who is able to offer a cross-campus service on:

• advice and guidance regarding childcare funding
• general childcare support and advice
• information and advice on local childcare facilities, including schools, out of school, holiday and leisure clubs.

Anglia Ruskin Nursery (our own in-house nursery)
Based on the Cambridge Campus for children aged three months to five years and situated in the Peter Taylor Building. The nursery is managed through Student Services and is available for use by students at our main campuses.

Cambridge Holiday Playscheme
For children of five to 14 years during state school holiday periods (excluding Christmas and Bank Holidays). This is a joint operation between the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University.

Barracudas
Offers a corporate discount to students; this is a multi-activity day camp for children aged 4½ to 16 operating at various school locations in and around London, and the south east during the summer holidays.

Kiddi Caru (Chelmsford)
Offers a corporate discount of 10% off the standard fees to students; this nursery is located just a few hundred yards from the Rivermead Campus in New Street.
