Our Research Activities
Since the arrival of Professor Michael Thorne as our Vice Chancellor, we have made large strides in developing an inclusive research culture and profile. These are also early and exciting days for me in my new role: joining an institution that has a clear and exciting vision for developing its research, scholarship and knowledge transfer; one that is committed to the enhancement of social, cultural and economic well-being of the region. Personally, it has been a privilege to meet so many committed researchers of international standing.
We are in the process of creating a distinctive intellectual identity for Anglia Ruskin University through the outstanding output of our four distinctive Faculties. We are building on our specialist research areas, by harnessing professional strength, unique insight and sheer excellence, and will become internationally known for these important niches.
