Course overview
The focus of this course is to enable students to develop the management skills and knowledge required for succeeding in today's challenging hospitality and tourism sector. It has been designed to develop knowledge and skills in a range of hospitality and tourism focused management areas, including marketing, organisational change, finance, project management, sustainable business and public relations.All modules will encourage a student centred approach and the continued development of self-directed learning in support of independent and reflective learners.
For those in employment in the Hospitality and Tourism sector, employers will be encouraged to support students in the application of theory and skills imparted during their online learning experience.
The pathway is delivered over four years part-time and is fully online. Delivery is asynchronous (not real time) enabling the flexibility to fit around existing work or other commitments. Full support from tutors and non-academic support staff is offered throughout study.

All Students have access to a customised Virtual Learning Environment and full access to the Anglia Library website http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/
Online services are available 24/7 from the library website. Access to the Digital Library is available to registered students.
There is a wealth of online resources available specifically for hospitality, tourism and management including key journal databases and e-journals. Specialist databases including UK and international company information. The Library holds a large collection of e-books (over 25,000).
Online library support is offered through our AskUs chat and email service.
Podcasts and online guides to offer support with library skills and using individual resources have been developed and a podcast specifically addressing the resource needs for hospitality and tourism has been developed.

Entry requirements
GCSE in English and Maths grade C or above or equivalent.200 points from two subjects at GCE/VCE A level or VCE double award or equivalent.
Equivalent qualifications considered.
IELTS 6.0 or above.
Applications from mature students and those offering qualifications other than GCE/VCE A Levels are welcomed and considered on an individual basis.
Progression and Advanced Diplomas considered on its individual merits and subject to further information from UCAS and the QCA upon the grading scheme.
