Leading Business Development focuses on some of the core elements developed for our world-renowned BA (Hons) Sales, which we designed exclusively with Harrods.Now, for the very first time, we are giving you the chance to choose from topics such as account management, sales and marketing which we have crafted into an easy-to-manage 1-year University Diploma.

Leadership in Practice
This module examines theories of leadership and practical leadership skills, along with the values and behaviours necessary to manage and lead projects, situations, self and teams. You will critically assess your leadership practice or potential for leadership.

Enterprise in Sales
This module will help you to develop creative, innovative and entrepreneurial skills which will benefit your role within your organisation. You will assess classical and contemporary approaches to entrepreneurship and will also examine the innovation process from conception through to market success.
Digital Marketing
How can the internet and e-commerce complement and strengthen more traditional marketing strategies? You will gain an insight into how to develop and implement effective and scalable digital marketing strategies.
Key Account Management
How do you make the most of your key accounts? You will analyse the needs of the key accounts and the expectant revenue and profitability to be obtained from developing the relationship. The development of a key account value proposition will be discussed along with the methods to measure the effectiveness of key account plans developed and implemented by your company.

Entry requirements
We have designed this course to be as flexible as possible and therefore we will consider most levels of ability and experience.We need to ensure that everyone starting the course is capable of completing it, and so the entry requirements are designed to give people the opportunity to prove that they can do this. Candidates may provide evidence of their ability to complete the course through their previous academic achievement (e.g. A levels, NVQs etc), or through their experience at work. Each case will be assessed individually, but as a rough guide, successful candidates will have 2 passes at A-level and relevant work experience. We normally interview applicants.
