Course overview

We are now offering the opportunity for you to study full-time for your ACCA Professional Papers with us within a carefully paced and supportive environment within which we will give you the best opportunity to succeed with ACCA.

Anyone interested in a career in accountancy or finance or anyone who wants to update their knowledge in any of the subject areas offered can study ACCA.

This course involves the study of five ACCA Professional Papers plus two ACCA Foundation Papers. This course will include three mandatory papers (P1, P2 & P3), two optional papers (to be selected from P4, P5, P6, & P7) plus, if necessary, 2 Foundation papers if not passed at the time of entry onto the course. The course will be taught over two semesters beginning in September 2013 and finishing in June 2014. The Calendar is as follows:
  • Commences September 2013 studying three Professional Papers for the exams in early December 2013.
  • Recommences February 2014 studying two new papers, plus classes to support any failed papers, with exams in early June 2014.

Additional course information

Successful students can transfer onto our MSc Accounting and Financial Analysis with exemptions.

Although flexible, your study requires a great deal of commitment. You will be expected to do preparatory work for each lecture together with set course work.

Entry Requirements: * Students must have registered with the ACCA before applying to our ACCA Full-time Professional Plus programme. Please refer to http://www.accaglobal.com * Students must have passed or be exempt from the ACCA F1 to F9 examinations OR have any degree recognised by the ACCA as giving exemption from papers F1-F9. For more information about exemptions please refer to the ACCA website. Students who have up to 2 outstanding ACCA Foundation papers will be considered for entry to ACCA Professional Plus programme with the opportunity to complete their outstanding foundation papers. * IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, with no lower than 5.5 in any of the 4 elements (listening, speaking, reading and writing).

Bursary

A bursary up to £1,000 can be offered to exceptional students who in addition are:
  • holders of non-accounting degrees with the award of 2:1 or better (or equivalent as determined by International Office at Anglia Ruskin University)
  • holders of F1-9 with an average mark of 65% or more.
