Solution Focused Brief Therapy
Level 6
30 Credits
Increasingly, practitioners are expected to use evidencebased practice approaches and apply a range of effective therapeutic techniques. This module has been designed to enable you to use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) skills in your day-to-day work.
Evidence-based Brief Therapy interventions are highlighted and the focus is on the flexibility of an approach that offers a useful psychosocial intervention, regardless of clinical setting or diagnostic criteria. The module is designed to be practical and applicable to everyday practice, and you are expected to participate in the module delivery through the use of case material, role-play and other experiential techniques. On completion, you will be able to apply new therapeutic approaches within your practice roles.
