Supporting Learning in the Clinical Environment (SLICE)

This distance learning module is designed for registered practitioners willing to share practice with other learners in the clinical environment. The module does not require or specify a particular type of learner or level of learning or achievement. It focuses on the opportunity provided by the clinical environment for a rich learning experience, the role of experience in promoting learning, sharing practice in a clinical setting, and the role of assessment. You will also look at the ethical dimension of practice-based learning.

Target audience

This module is suitable for clinical supervisors and those seeking CPD.

Assessment

A portfolio of no more than 6000 words.
