Principles of Orthopaedic Care

Level 6

45 Credits

The module provides you with information and clinical experience to apply the concepts of a problem solving approach to understanding and managing care of either children or adults suffering from mobility disorders.

It will enable you to take a holistic approach to the management of the orthopaedic patient, to maximise mobility and contribute to an improved quality of life. Recognition of the importance of the educational and developmental needs of the individual whilst undergoing therapy will be emphasised.
