I am writing to you to say thanks to all my teachers who taught me either in the IELTS course or the advanced English class. I was planning to enter my LLM course this September which I can now do with your brilliant teachers' efforts.

This part-time, 12 week course is designed to give you practice in the techniques required for taking the IELTS examination. If you are hoping to go to a British university to study on a degree programme, then you will need a good IELTS score.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an examination which is regarded by the majority of British Universities as providing evidence of a student's language ability. Many students take this examination but their results do not always reflect the real level of their language ability and this is often because students are not sufficiently familiar with the examination.

The IELTS courses include practice tests under exam conditions with individual discussion of grades and, as Anglia Ruskin is an official examination centre, you can take your IELTS examination with us. The course includes practice, including hints and techniques, of each of the four sections of the test: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

The minimum entry level for this course is intermediate.

Please note: The fee for this course does not include the fee for the IELTS examination, which is currently £131.
