IELTS Bootcamp
These part-time courses, currently in development, are designed for people already in the UK, with quite a good knowledge of English, who:
Course Details:
The course is provided by expert tutors.
You will be given a familiarisation tour of the exam centre and offered your own room to prepare on the day of the examination with refreshments and supplies of practice material.
- Want intensive practice just before taking the test
- Need to get a specific score in the IELTS test, for a university offer, for example
- Might have taken the IELTS before but not achieved the score they require and therefore must take it again
Course Details:
- Intensive focus on the four main skills tested (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
- Make you completely familiar with the format of each section
- Give you essential strategies for dealing with each paper
- Detailed analysis of the kind of questions used in the test
- Techniques for dealing with parts of the interview including 1-to-1 feedback on video recordings of your speaking test practice
- Practice tests taken under exam conditions to make you completely familiar with the real exam
- Available at critical times during the academic year from September to June

Entry requirements:
We will need to know what band you hope to achieve if you have an offer, then we can best advise you if this is the right type of course.
You will be asked to provide evidence of your present level of English when you apply. We can only accept you if we are sure that you will benefit from the course.
If you are below the minimum language level you should consider attending a full-time English course in order to raise your overall English level. If you need a higher score you will need a longer full-time course. If you need help to decide, we can advise you.
Entry Test: If you are unable to provide evidence of your present level of English you will be asked to take an entry test to establish whether your English is at an appropriate level to follow the course. If you need to take an entry test please contact us to arrange a suitable date/time.
Please note we regret this programme is only available to adults over the age of 18 at the time of the course.
