The Care and Management of Haematology Patients

The module is aimed at a multiprofessional healthcare audience involved in the care of patients/clients with haematological disorders. It enables you to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to provide holistic care for patients with either benign or malignant haematological conditions. This includes an understanding of the physiological concepts of cancer, the nature of different haematological disorders, the role of the healthcare professional in caring for patients, donors and families undergoing therapies, and issues related to sexuality, fertility and body image.

Assessment

A 3000 word essay and practice.
