“Through the short period of time I have attended Anglia Ruskin University Language Centre I have improved my English language and gained the knowledge and confidence I need to pursue my life as a Master student at the University. All this was given in an amazing environment and with great faculty support.”
These short, intensive programmes of 24 study sessions per week are designed to prepare you for September and January degree entry. They are especially suitable for Tier 4 students.
Our pre-sessional courses provide you with a combination of English language advancement and academic skills and language. The academic English focus of the courses will include work on how to write and research for an extended essay, presentation skills, listening and note-taking, seminar skills and academic vocabulary. The English language focus of the courses will be on grammar and the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Successful completion of a degree pre-sessional course will mean you have met your English language entry requirement for your Anglia Ruskin degree - you do not have to retake IELTS or any other English language test to progress.
