Management of Patient with Diabetes

Level 6

30 Credits

This module is designed to meet the needs of Registered Nurses, Health Visitors, Midwives and other Health Care Professionals currently employed in an area, either in hospital or community setting, where diabetes mellitus care forms a significant part of the workload.
The module comprises a half-day preview two months before commencement of the course and seven study days, plus a further two days for clinical visits run by Specialist Practitioners e.g. Diabetes Specialist Nurses, Dieticians and Podiatrists.
