The module is designed to test the student's critical understanding and strategic, political and ideological grasp of contemporary public health policy, in relation to professional and ethical healthcare practice. You will need to outline the rationale for the choice of policy, identify the target group, its relationship with, and links to, historical and concomitant policy, evaluate the intended and actual policy outcomes and discuss the merit of the evaluation methodology.
