503 Conservation of Historic Buildings - C) Design and Adaptation

 

 

This is the third event in the mini series Conservation of Historic Buildings.

The series integrates four major challenges involved in effective conservation, restoration and appropriate adaptations to historic buildings, including listed buildings.

The four events will provide a thorough understanding for architects and designers, construction companies and other built environment specialists, and for owners and managers of historic buildings

The learning draws directly on the content of our respected MSc course.


This event will address best practice for improvements and modifications to historic buildings to ensure that the current and proposed uses and designs are consistent and complementary with preserving the essential character of buildings. Includes case studies showing how skilled architects approach design challenges.
