501 Conservation of Historic Buildings - A) Overview and Legislation
This is the first in the mini series Conservation of Historic Buildings.
The series integrates four major challenges involved in effective conservation, restoration and appropriate adaptations to historic buildings, including listed buildings.
The four events will provide a thorough understanding for architects and designers, construction companies and other built environment specialists, and for owners and managers of historic buildings

This session will provide the base for the series, including the legal framework for historic buildings, what you can and cannot do and how to work well with council Conservation Officers and others.
