Issues in Contraceptive and Reproductive Sexual Health

This module is designed to introduce and develop an understanding of contraceptive and sexual health care. Any professional involved in health, social care or education will find this module of interest especially where their role involves disseminating information regarding contraception and sexual health.

This module enables participants to explore and gain an understanding of all methods of contraception, gain insight into sexually transmitted diseases and the impact of sexuality on the individual, family and society. The module is designed to introduce and develop an understanding of contraceptive and sexual health care.

Target audience

Any professional involved in health, social care or education will find this module of interest, especially where their role involves providing information regarding contraception and sexual health.

Assessment

A 3000 word assignment in which students critically analyse an issue of their choice in relation to contraception and/or sexual health care related to practice.
