Why study in Chelmsford?

Our Chelmsford site, known as the Rivermead campus, is a 10-minute walk from the city centre
in a picturesque location on the banks of the river Chelmer. Rivermead is a thoroughly modern campus with a wealth of green open spaces, and just a short walk from the Chelmer Valley Local Nature Reserve. Rivermead campus has undergone a significant amount of investment in recent years with most
of the buildings being under 10 years old and packed with all the state-of-the-art facilities you would expect.

The Student Village is our on-Campus accommodation and is just a short walk from the Sports Hall and gym, library and teaching spaces. With 510 rooms you'll have a great opportunity to make friends and immerse yourself in student life.
