Why study in Cambridge?

Cambridge is a beautiful and cultural city and a world-centre of learning. We are at the heart of the high-technology centre known as Silicon Fen - a play on Silicon Valley in California and the fens surrounding the city. Its economic strength lies in industries such as software and bioscience and Cambridge is home to both a large Science park and a large Business park. These connections offer many opportunities.

Cambridge is a small, safe and friendly city which is easy to navigate on foot or bike. The combined student population of Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin University is 28,574 - 23% of the city's 119,900 residents. Anglia Ruskin has 1700 international students from 120 different countries.
