This one day course will address when is an EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) needed.
The course will cover:

- what is screening and scoping and when is it needed?
- key issues for waste and minerals developments including stakeholder engagement
- 2011 EIA Regulations and recent judicial review decisions
- expected changes in EU requirements, and UK Government proposals
- case study and worked example group work on screening and scoping
