Entry requirements and applications

The entry requirements for students from Finland are listed below.


To enter an undergraduate Bachelors degree

For entry into year 1 of an undergraduate Bachelors degree, students need to have one of the following:
  • Ylioppilastutkinto / studentexamen (Matriculation Examination) with an overall average of M/5 or above
  • Diplom (from a Kutsekõrgharidus / tertiary vocational level)
  • International Baccalaureate with a minimum of 24 points
To enter a postgraduate Masters degree

Students applying for a postgraduate Masters degree are required to hold one of the following:
  • Kandidaatti/ Kandidat (Professional titles: Ekonomi, Diplomi-insinööri, Arkkitehti, Lisensiaatti Proviisori) with an average of 2 (scale of 1-3) or 3 (scale of 1-5)
  • Maisteri / magister (higher academic degree) with an average grade of 2 (scale 1-3) or 3 (scale 1-5)
  • Oikeustieteen kandidaatti / juris kandidat
English language requirements

In addition to the academic requirements listed above, you will need to provide evidence that you meet the required level of English language
