Open Days

Visitors at an Open Day on our Cambridge campus
Open Days are a fantastic opportunity to find out more about studying with us. During the day staff from all of our Faculties are available to talk to you about our courses and offer you advice on applying for a place. You'll also be able to speak to some of our current students about their experiences and take a tour around our campuses.

Our Cambridge and Chelmsford campuses have upcoming Open Days on:

The breadth of the ACCA qualification makes it the perfect platform to launch any business career. You can acquire the technical skills that employers are demanding in the current climate, without pigeon-holing yourself for the future. Our qualification gives you the transferable skills you need, so that in the long-term you can apply for finance roles in any sector.

An ACCA representative will be visiting our University to explain more about the qualification and will be on hand to answer any questions.

Cambridge Celebrates International Women's Day (IWD) 2012 No Going Back! What next for women today?

Professor Helen Valentine will chair the event, which will feature a keynote speech by recent appointee to our Board of Governors, Julie Spence, OBE, who will give a talk entitled 'These ladies are not for turning: but are we too complacent about our progress?'

Other speakers will include Professor Dame Athene Donald, University of Cambridge, Antoinette Jackson, Cambridge City Council, Dr Liz Bradbury, Lecturer in Sociology, and Emma Brett, Lecturer in Public Service, both Anglia Ruskin. In addition, there will be speakers from UK Feminista, Womankind and Feminist Action Cambridge.

As well as the talks and debates, there will be an opportunity to take part in an African djembe drumming workshop and a singing workshop, Finding A Voice with Women of Notes.

The day will also feature exhibitions and stalls with information on issues such as ending violence against women and girls, where next for the feminist movement and women's empowerment projects.
