New Road Junction To Encourage Sustainable Travel In Chelmsford
Essex County Council is supporting Anglia Ruskin University's efforts to provide more sustainable transport opportunities through the construction of a new road junction.The £1.6m junction, funded by the University, will provide better public transport access for thousands of students and staff by putting the university campus on new bus routes.
Anglia Ruskin University is committed to lowering its carbon footprint with a University Travel Plan encouraging sustainability through cycling, walking and using the bus.

This junction will help us move towards having a lower impact on our environment and continuing our work to a more sustainable campus. Every effort has been made to design and construct the works with the minimum disruption to road users."
