He is also a Fellow of the Sunningdale Institute and spent four years as editor-in-chief of The Observer and director of the Guardian National Newspapers.
Will has long standing connections with Anglia Ruskin University, having spoken several times in the past to its various student societies.

Colleagues such as Stuart Wall, Alan Griffiths, Pip Jones, Tony Bilton and other past and present members of Anglia Ruskin have all worked with Will in various ways in the past.

Said Stuart Wall:

"We are extremely fortunate to have such an engaging and informed speaker delivering a major address during this special anniversary year.

"The all-embracing economic and political topic of employability is one that John Ruskin explored with great authority, and so it is particularly relevant that we are hosting this event now as we are celebrating 150 years of turning ability into employability."
