The UK care sector welcomes new work-based tutor supported e-learning programme
A new Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Care Management from Anglia Ruskin University's fast-developing Higher Skills @ Work programme is poised to assist managers in the care sector to upgrade their professional skills and boost their careers."This industry-led foundation degree delivers benefits to employers, employees and service users. It incorporates management theory and practice that is firmly linked to the employee's day-to-day work role. In a period during which the care sector faces many challenges, this qualification will help to improve management effectiveness and raise professional standards.
"The tutor supported e-learning course is particularly innovative because the field of care management is an extremely complex and rapidly evolving sector with complicated regulatory and governance requirements. It is designed to help front line managers or aspiring managers to develop the skills and knowledge needed to meet these challenges head on."
The course is one of the first fully online programmes of its type in the UK developed by Anglia Ruskin University's Faculty of Health & Social Care in consultation with some of the UK's leading companies and care organisations.
