Faculty of Health & Social Care Professor Woody Caan has recently been appointed to mentorship development programme for the Academy of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting Research (UK).
The prime concern of the Academy is 'to be an expert collaborative voice for all aspects of research involving nursing, midwifery and health visiting in the UK, including policy development, its implementation and evaluation through negotiation and dialogue with other key stakeholders.'

The goal of our mentorship scheme is 'to assist nurses with personal and professional development by helping them to take advantage of senior, suitably qualified professionals who are independent of their place of work and research supervisor'.
