Eversheds has been preparing students in Cambridge for the business and legal world through Anglia Ruskin University's mentoring scheme. The firm joined the likes of mobile phone giant Motorola to teach their protégés how to fly the nest.

Eversheds' real estate partner David Roberts took a number of students under his wing to help them fulfil their aspirations. He helped them put together action plans to enable them to reach the goals and targets they set themselves.

In one case Roberts taught a solicitor-hopeful interview techniques, helped shape his CV and even managed to get other Eversheds lawyers to listen to a presentation by the student as preparation for the real thing.
