"David Willetts' book sets out that the people controlling the media, the boardrooms, academia and politics did irreparable harm to society, running up a bill that has to be paid by their children and grandchildren. If this is the case, can an entire generation really be to blame?
"The debate will ask, and attempt to answer, the questions that are important not just to the Baby Boomers but to society as a whole. The very future of the NHS is in the spotlight at the moment and some say the 'must have it now' generation are responsible for stretching it to breaking point as they reach old age and live longer.
"Some people think they are to blame for a property market based on greed and self-gratification, which has made it near impossible for low earners to own a house today. Others blame the current economic problems on that generation?s mismanagement, lack of foresight and avarice.
"Whether you think the Swinging Sixties were really the Whinging Sixties or you believe the Baby Boomers have an unfair reputation, it promises to be a fascinating evening."
