're:mark' are a group of artists who met recently on the MA printmaking course at Anglia Ruskin University and now exhibit together. This exhibition at Ruskin Gallery in September 2009 marked the end of their Masters degree course.
The work was varied and lively, reflecting the contributors' range of age, ethnicity and previous experience. Some of the artists are well known already and exhibit regularly, some are showing again after time out and others are just starting their career.
The media used included etching, silkscreen, monoprint, digital print and carborundum. This made for a vibrant and inspiring show for anyone interested to see what contemporary printmaking can be like.
