The Eaton Portrait Prize 2010

The Eaton Portrait Prize is open to students enrolled on BA (Hons) Photography or the FdA Professional Photography at Cambridge School of Art. 'Portrait' is interpreted in its widest sense - photography that portrays an individual or group of individuals where the emphasis is upon their identity.

We are pleased to announce that the winners were:

First prize: Richard Brown
Second Prize: Naomi Peel
Third prize: Justin van Vliet

The peoples' vote went to: Mate Dobrey (1st), Mary Humphrey and Aksana Aldred (joint second)

All 10 shortlisted entries also won the entry fee to the prestigious Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize at the Nation Portrait Gallery.

Judges on this occasion were Susan Andrews (Course Leader MA Photography, Sir John Cass, London), Kerstin Hacker (Pathway Leader, BA (Hons) Photography and FdA Professional Photography), Anglia Ruskin University, Hag Hargreaves, (Senior Lecturer, Photography, Anglia Ruskin University), Andy Eaton, (BA (Hons) Photography alumnus, Eaton Kaye).
