Pulling Punches
A debut solo exhibition by MA Printmaking student Natania Thomas.
Dates: 20 April (14.00 - 17.30), 21 April (10.00 - 21.00) and 22 April (10.00 - 12.00)
Venue: Wolfson Court, Cambridge
Private view: Saturday 21 April, 18.30 - 21.00
As a musician and practising artist, Natania's work explores the creative fusion of music and art. This was particularly true of her work 'Pulling Punches'. Inspired by the ancient and iconic folk-theatrical figures of Punch and Judy, this was a gritty yet satirical exploration of politically correct censorship that the show has undergone in the West in recent years.
