Assembly House Art Show 2011
Flying Colours: Fascinating Forms
Date: 1 - 31 August 2011
Venue: The Assembly House, Norwich
Free admission.
This was the first curated major exhibition to be held at this beautiful, Grade I-listed building, and featured new 2D and 3D work from both established and aspiring artists in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Among the contributors were students from Cambridge School of Art: Amelia Poon (Master of Fine Art) and Kathryn MacDonald (MA Printmaking).
More information can be found on the Assembly House website.
The images shown here were kindly provided by Amelia Poon. Please click to enlarge.
Update: Following the exhibition, Assembly House decided to keep Amelia's sculpture as a permanent feature on the grounds - it was such a good fit they did not want to dismantle it.
