Social Inclusion: Core Research Group
Introduction
The core research area of Social Inclusion in the Faculty of Health & Social Care at Anglia Ruskin University was founded in 2008 and has brought together a multi-professional group of university lecturers and researchers to further knowledge, skills and research within the areas of social inclusion and exclusion. The staff group is committed to applied research which contributes to the resolution of social problems related to social exclusion. The members of the research area have a range of methodological expertise covering the spectrum of quantitative and qualitative approaches which are illustrated in the examples of research provided in the following pages.The staff group share a common interest in the broad areas of social inclusion and exclusion, but within this area, each staff member is identified with one of three sub-themes. The following sub-themes are represented:
