Private views
Ruskin Gallery opens many of its private views to members of the public who have become friends of the Ruskin Gallery as well as staff, students and invited guests, giving the whole community a chance to share in the experience. Often, these events are attended by the exhibiting artists themselves, who may give speeches, provide Q&A sessions, or simply mingle with the guests to talk about their work.
At Ruskin Gallery, we see the private view as an official celebration of the artists' works; a forum in which guests can discuss and appraise the significance of displays that often take years of work to conceive, create and collate.
