MA Arts Management student and artist Alexandra Davis has curated an exhibition that brings together the work of six UK artists and one Mexico-based artist.
This Easter Exhibition is a collection of the seven artists' interpretation of the theme 'folklore'.
Folklore shapes our culture and history and is reflected in our modern day lives. From fairy tales and monsters to creation myths, folklore has passed down to children for generations shaping our sense of who we are and where we come from.
The idea of folklore resides in all of us and this exhibition is the response of these artists to that theme. The result is an imaginative and creative explosion of illustration, sculpture, drawing and fabric-based work.
The contributing artists are Alexandra Davis, Emily Twomey, Lucy Oldfield, Colette Elson, Harriet Brooke-Taylor, Madeleine Burgess and Anna Dutton.
