The annual gaming festival for the Cambridge area returned this year with a series of events that brought together established key players from the industry with those just starting out.

30 June - 1 July
48-Hour Games Jam
100 students from across the UK and Europe descended on Cambridge to compete in teams to build a new game from scratch in 48 hours. Friendly games professionals were on hand throughout the Jam to offer assistance.
2 July
Brains Symposium
This event brought together the best brains in industry and academia for a look at what the future holds for gaming and how academia can respond to develop the talent of the future. Speakers included Dave Coplin, Chief Envisioning Officer at Microsoft. Attendance to the symposium was open to all.
Games artwork exhibition
Held in the stunning Ruskin Digital Gallery, this unique and inspiring exhibition showcased games artwork and designs from world-leading development studios and university students across the UK and Europe.
Exclusive careers clinic
A careers clinic for students and graduates to talk directly to studios, developers, artists, coders, designers and producers from all the major developers in Cambridge. Several studios also had paid opportunities available.
