There are times in any healthcare professional?s career when there is not enough control over work / life balance.

This workshop looks at how to reclaim control, reviews a variety of approaches, and helps each participant identify their own optimum energy management system.

Workshop objectives:

  • Step back and review what is most important
  • Review some popular approaches to time management
  • Consider key roles and the time allocated to them
  • Review allocation of priorities in the important / urgent matrix
  • Explore how to manage resistance
  • Practise some techniques for 'push' tasks
  • Learn how to create a 'pull' motivation for important tasks
  • Explore mind-body states and how they influence physiology
  • Understand one's own stress early warning system and how to contain one's stress
