FOCUS - Foundation Course Using Simulation
Simulation training for Foundation Year 1 doctors who manage acutely ill patients.
A full day of simulated practice at managing acute medical and surgical emergencies in our high fidelity simulation suite.
Suitable for Foundation Year 1 doctors.
Featuring:
The day is not an assessment. It is simply a learning opportunity for you to revise your skills at managing common medical emergencies. You are not expected to role-play as it is important that you behave as you would in real life. The focus of feedback after each scenario will be on the clinical management of the case, but may also include non-technical aspects such as team working. Each scenario is recorded to assist in debriefing but all recordings are deleted after the course. No aspect of your simulator performance is passed back to your clinical supervisors.
The aim of the day is to combine learning with a little fun.
Next course: TBC
If you would like to be put on our waiting list and be notified of the next course date, please email katherine.maloney@anglia.ac.uk
