The Novice Introduction to Anaesthesia Programme is a stuctured introduction to anaesthesia for new trainees and provides valuable preparation for the three month competency based assessment.

The programme consists of three components; Introduction to the School (for all East of England trainees), four Lecture Days, and one Simulation day for trainees on the Essex rotation (Basildon, Broomfield, Colchester and Southend).

Barts and the London School of Anaesthesia:
  • Dr Charlotte Dempsey, Consultant Anaesthetist, Royal London Hospital
  • Dr Adam Wantman, Consultant Anaesthetist, Royal London Hospital
Register and pay in the Anglia Ruskin University store.

Registration fee £270. Refreshments included. Payment by credit card accepted. Confirmation will be sent to you on receipt of your application to attend.
Travelling to the Postgraduate Medical Institute

Travelling to the PMI by public transport is strongly advised. We are a ten minute walk from Chelmsford rail and bus stations.
