COMETS - Core Medical Emergency Training using Simulation
The COMETS course is a full day of simulation training in the recognition and management of acutely ill patients for core medical trainees.
Develop your team-working and leadership skills using realistic medical emergencies in a safe, non-judgmental environment using high-fidelity simulation equipment.
Scenarios based around 'emergency presentations' and 'top 20 presentations' in the CMT curriculum 2009 and amendments 2011 are included.
Suitable for CMT level 1 and for CMT level 2 preparing for medical ST3+ posts.
You will not be expected to manage all medical emergencies independently - as in real life, help is always available!
