Access Conference 2012
“The knowledge I got here today was excellent and it really helps me a lot on where I should begin. It is an amazing experience. Thank you”
Our annual HE access conference is tailored to provide Access students with the key information they need in order to apply to University. We combine skills workshops like writing a personal statement with lectures on important topics like student finance and advice from our admissions team. We also give students the opportunity to explore a real University campus and talk to current University students.
Although similar in structure, students have the opportunity to find out about their preferred subject in smaller groups than at one of our general University-wide open day. They can also gain a deeper understanding of the course that interests them, relevant finance information and the necessary entry requirements.
