The recent statutory guidance from the Department For Education (DFE) states:

"Schools should consider a range of wider careers activities such as engagement with local employers and work-based education and training providers to offer all young people insights into the world of work, and with local colleges and universities for first-hand experience of further and higher education. Schools are free to determine the most appropriate forms of engagement but might consider mentoring, workplace visits, work experience, work shadowing, enterprise clubs, employer talks and links with local higher education institutions." - Gov.uk, Statutory Careers Guidance for Young People

We run a growing number of events for current school and college students. We are already in regular contact with most schools and colleges in the local area, but we also travel further afield to inform students about University and tell them about what Anglia Ruskin University has on offer.

We invite teachers and IAG staff to our free annual IAG Staff Conferences to provide up to date information on higher education and any current topics.
