Pre-show Talks - Spring 2013
As part of the Mumford Theatre's on-going commitment to community engagement and outreach activities we are pleased to present a series of pre-show talks this spring.
Leading academics at Anglia Ruskin University will present on a variety of topics to coincide with the subject area of productions being presented at the theatre. Pre-show talks are available for the following performances: Spring Awakening (Monday 25 February, Dr Nigel Ward), The Woyzeck (Tuesday 12 March, Dr Eirini Kartsaki and Dr Amanda Price), Michelangelo Drawing Blood (Tuesday 7 May, Chris Owen), Four Farces (Thursday 30 May, Professor Rohan McWilliam), and Emily Wilding Davison: the one who threw herself under the horse (Wednesday 5 June, Professor Mary Joannou).
All talks will last approximately half an hour, take place at 6.30pm in the Lord Ashcroft Building (near the Mumford Theatre) and are free to attend for all. You do not need a ticket for the performance at 7.30pm but there will be an opportunity to purchase tickets after each talk should you wish to.
