How to find us

The Mumford Theatre is situated within the heart of the Anglia Ruskin University campus in Cambridge. To find the theatre, enter the University by either the main entrance on East Road, or the side entrance on Bradmore Street. Walk down the corridor towards the University Library and look for the doors on the right into the Mumford Theatre.

Car Parking

Car parks closest to the Mumford Theatre are Queen Anne Terrace and the Grafton Centre (East), both well signposted and within easy walking distance. There is no public parking available on the Anglia Ruskin campus.

Directions from Queen Anne Terrace

  • 5-7 minute walk to Mumford Theatre
  • Walking from the car park, turn right onto Gonville Place and pass Parkside Swimming Pool. At the crossroads continue straight on. Almost immediately pass through a gap in the railing fence on your right - this path takes you diagonally across Petersfield, a small park area. At the other side of the park, the path leads you into a small side street. From here you can see the Bradmore Street entrance into Anglia Ruskin University directly ahead. Once inside turn right, walk down the corridor towards the University Library and look for the doors on the right into the Mumford Theatre.

Directions from Grafton Centre (East)

  • 7-10 minute walk to Mumford Theatre
  • Walking from the car park, turn right onto East Road passing the British Heart Foundation charity shop. Continue walking along East Road, passing a parade of shops on your right (including Blockbuster Video and Tesco Express) until you come to the pedestrian crossing opposite Anglia Ruskin University. Cross the road and enter the University through the main entrance at the bottom of the steps ahead. Walk down the corridor towards the University Library and look for the doors on the right into the Mumford Theatre.
