Louis Ling presents

What Would Helen Mirren Do?

by Josie Melia
directed by Peter Ellis
starring Anita Parry

Tuesday 10 - Friday 13 April, 7.30pm

Regretfully the performance originally scheduled for Saturday 14th has been cancelled.

Susan is a long-term supermarket checkout operator from Oldham. She's never had to give much thought to role models until she gets promoted and is forced to adopt one. Oscar-winning actress and international star Helen Mirren is an unlikely choice, but Susan's life changes dramatically when she starts to ask herself, 'What would Helen Mirren do?'

This is a funny and moving play for anyone who's ever had to think again about who they really are.

This one woman comedy show is directed by Peter Ellis who is probably best known for playing Chief Superintendent Brownlow in ITV1's The Bill. He is married to Anita and this is the first time he has directed her.
