Motion Tracking Systems

Available:
Vicon T10 with 8 cameras system
Flock of bird magnetic motion tracking system

The Vicon T10 optical and Flock of Birds magnetic tracking systems are used to accurately measure and study human motion and posture for rehabilitation and performance assessment purposes. The aim is to provide clinicians with objective data regarding the patient's condition for informed decisions on improved patient management, treatment and follow-up. The tethered Flock of Birds magnetic motion tracking system is used to track motion and posture that are outside the field of view. The newly acquired wireless Vicon T10 wireless motion tracking with 8 camera system can be used for all other motions, ranging from sports-related activities to clinical-related activities, such as cerebral palsy.

The large mass floor system of the Medical Engineering Laboratory will ensure minimal vibration level and highly accurate kinematic data collection.
