Force Plates

Two AMTI 600 x 400 mm high frequency force plates, which will be installed in the Medical Engineering Laboratory, will enable the collection of ground reaction forces for a number of activities, ranging from clinical to sports-related activities. This information will allow us to calculate joint reaction forces in the ankle, knee and hip by inverse dynamic method. The positions of the force plates can be easily adjusted according to the nature of the data collected, using a flexible air mount system.
