Diagarajen Carpanen

Dilen Carpanen
I was awarded a BEng (Hons) in Mechatronics at the University of Mauritius in 2009. My final year project, a robotic lawn mower, was on exhibition at the 2009 first Southern African Developing Countries (SADC) Science and Technology Week.

After being awarded a Graduate Teaching Assistantship at Anglia Ruskin University in 2010, I started my PhD research project on the computer simulation of partial meniscectomy. My studentship is gratefully funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and Anglia Ruskin University.

Besides my research project, I am exposed to such projects involving gait analysis and material testing.
I am also tutor for undergraduates. I am a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and a student member of the International Society of Biomechanics (ISB). Otherwise, my main interest is music.
