Low Carbon KEEP: For Universities & Colleges

Low Carbon Knowledge-East of England-Partners (KEEP) programme offers universities and colleges across the United Kingdom the opportunity to apply their knowledge and expertise to the challenge within small businesses. By participating academics can increase the business relevance of their current research and teaching,support strategic change and technological advances within organisations, and enhance their institution's low carbon credentials.

Funding is relatively easily available, despite recent cuts elsewhere, offering an opportunity for academics to engage in industrial collaboration activity. This formal knowledge transfer activity can potentially attributing to institutional targets related to knowledge transfer. The grant is paid to the university partner to cover 40% of eligible costs. The Low Carbon KEEP, running between 2010 and 2014 and managed by Anglia Ruskin University, is open to all UK universities and colleges. The company partner must be based in the East of England (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk.)


Low Carbon KEEP: For Universities & Colleges
Low Carbon KEEP project proposals are subject to approval by an independent assessment pannel; applications are jointly prepared by the company partner and the knowledge base partner. Approval decisions take typically 3-4 weeks after submission of a proposal.
